Who we work best with

We’re not for everyone. On purpose.

We’re a boutique firm with two licensed CPAs and a client list we cap on purpose, so the fit matters more to us than the headcount. Here’s exactly who we do our best work for, who we’re honestly not the right firm for, and where our service starts and stops. If you see yourself below, we should talk.

The businesses we serve

Where we do our best work.

Shopify & ecommerce

Payouts, fees, refunds, inventory, and multi-channel sales that make your books lie to you. This is our home turf. See how we work with Shopify stores →

Retail & boutique

Brick-and-mortar and hybrid shops juggling inventory, margins, and seasonal cash. See retail & boutique →

Contractors & trades

Trades owners with equipment, payroll, and lumpy cash who need to know what they can safely pay themselves. See contractors →

Across all of them, the common thread is an owner who wants their books to actually guide decisions, not just close a month.

You’re a great fit if…

The owners we click with.

  • ✓ You want clean, CPA-reviewed books and a cash system that tells you what you can pay yourself, not just a P&L.
  • ✓ You value getting it right over getting it cheapest. You understand two CPAs cost more than an overseas data-entry service, and you want the difference.
  • ✓ You’re on QuickBooks Online, or willing to move to it.
  • ✓ You want to pay yourself properly and stop being surprised by taxes.
  • ✓ You’re ready to hand the books off and get back to running the business.
Honestly, not a fit if…

Who we’re not the right firm for.

We’d rather tell you now than three months in.

  • ✗ You’re shopping purely on price. We’re not the cheapest and never will be.
  • ✗ You want a full audit or reviewed financial statements. We’re not an audit or attest firm.
  • ✗ You need deep, detailed job-costing software built out. We handle the bookkeeping and cash side cleanly, but that’s a different service.
What to expect on fees

Straight talk on cost.

Ongoing monthly service is quoted as a flat monthly fee after we have looked at your books, and what changes between levels is how often you want to meet, with payroll and sales tax available as add-ons. Every level includes the same clean books, the cash system, and your business tax return. Most engagements begin with a one-time $497 Diagnostic Review that credits in full toward your first month.
